Nine Blades Events

What exciting events does the Nine Blades have every year?

This list is being worked on and is not complete...

Frostbite

Frostbite is a winter-themed, weekend-long event held in Wolvenfang early in the year

There are battlegames, quests, tournaments, and maybe even some crafting!

It's held over a weekend and traditionally a Saturday night feast is provided with the fee.

This event aims to be indoors and outside, so bring your winter garb!

Ironclad

Ironclad fight

Ironclad is a tournament event in April or May started in 2020 in which the main draw is a bearpit-style event. The winner of the tournament overall will receive the Ironclad headband, and be allowed to wear it until the next Ironclad event. However to encourage everyone to try out, and the parks to each have something to be proud of, the best scoring member of each park will also receive a park specific headband. There are also many non-combat activities to partake in.

After the tournament, during or before Court, a feast of Roman scale is provided to all attendees

Battle of the Dens (BotD)

Battle of the Dens is the longest running Amtgard event in Canada and is a Wolvenfang and Kingdom Summer Coronation event. A camping event just outside of Sudbury, Ontario, typically over the Canadian long weekend at the beginning of August.

The day long Capture the Flag game held in the wooded area often sees capture points, hold points, and nirvana locations throughout. Two team captains fight for the right to be declared winner!

But there's much more than just the CTF, there are Battlegames, a massive Company Battle, colourful bardics, shinanigans around the campfire, and a feast/court/awards night.

This event pulls in between 150 and 200 participants from across The Nine Blades, other Canadian parks, and travellers from the United States.
