What is a Kingdom without its Duchies, Baronies, and Shires that make up its holdings? Each field is assigned a rank based on several factors, including the number of players participating each month,
the frequency of events, and overall activity levels. These ranks reflect the field’s contribution to the Kingdom’s vibrancy and community engagement, ensuring that each area is recognized for its efforts and involvement.
This system encourages growth and participation, helping to maintain a dynamic and thriving Kingdom.
The Duchy of Felfrost – Ottawa
Felfrost is the battlegame center of Eastern Nine Blades. Known for their armored combat and tactical aggression, this field embodies the spirit of battle. Players at Felfrost are dedicated to mastering their skills and strategies, making them a formidable presence in the Kingdom. Their battle cry, “Hogsback Moose Pack, MOOSE MOOSE MOOSE!”
The Barony of Linnagond – Peterborough
Nestled in the heart of the Kawartha Lakes area, Linnagond is renowned for hosting some of the Kingdom’s finest roleplayers and storytellers. With its welcoming community and picturesque fields, Linnagond is a destination well worth visiting.
The Barony of Bellhollow – Brantford
With roots dating back to 2004, the Shire of Ravenwing now proudly flies a new banner as Bellhollow! As the youth capital of Amtgard, Bellhollow regularly runs “Kidsgard” games specifically designed for individuals under the age of 14. This field is dedicated to fostering a love for Amtgard among younger players, providing them with a safe and fun environment to engage in the game.
The Shire of Heathens Cove – Kingston
In the city of Kingston resides the small but tight-knit field of Heathens Cove. This park gathers to enjoy the game and foster a sense of community, serving as a waypoint between Felfrost and Twilight Peak. Players at Heathens Cove are dedicated to having fun and engaging in the game, creating a welcoming environment for all who join.
The Legends Library Freehold – Barrie
Not yet a part of the Kingdom, the Legends Library Freehold is the youngest field in Ontario. A perfect canvas for a player to make their mark on the Kingdom in the future, Legends Library is the crossroads of the Kingdom.
The Barony of Lichwood Grove – Kitchener
Trapped in the dead center of the Lichwood Forest lies a grove of the same name. Lichwood Grove is the competitive center of the Western Nine Blades, and a great place for beginners to learn the foundations of our combat sport.
The Barony of Twilight Peak – Toronto
Basking in the glory of the tallest monument in the lands, Twilight Peak is arguably the Heart of the Kingdom. Though never the strongest field in the Kingdom, Twilight Peak has proven its resilience and determination, with its players embodying that same unwavering spirit!
The Duchy of Wolvenfang – Sudbury
Up in the frozen wasteland of the North, Wolvenfang stands as a symbol that citizens of the Nine Blades don’t know the meaning of “Too Cold to Play.” The Largest, and possibly oldest field in the Nine Blades, Wolvenfang has made it’s mark on Amtgard since 1997.
